Dennis W. Martin's Obituary
Dennis W. Martin age, 79, passed away at home December 15, 2022, with his loving wife by his side after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a resident of Longview for the past 16 years. Dennis was born June 1, 1943, in Marshall, Texas to Charles and Alice Martin.
Dennis owned numerous successful businesses and was an adjunct professor for Panola College. He was a veteran of the US Air Force where he proudly served his country.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 38 years, Mary Haynes Martin, his sister Ruth Ellen Burkle of Grand Saline, TX, his daughter Julie Diamond and her husband Bob of Shreveport, LA, Dennis’s wife’s children Carie and Dwayne McDonald of Coppell, TX, Keith Stanfield of McKinney, TX, and Kevin and Stacy Stanfield of Tyler, TX, along with numerous extended family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all.
Dennis is preceded in passing by his parents, Charles Raymond Martin and Alice Martin, and his brother Wayne Martin.
Graveside services will be 2pm, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, in the mausoleum chapel at Rosewood Park in Longview with Reverend John Lindsay officiating. Visitation will start 1 hour prior to service at 1 pm.
