Dennis Earl Freeman's Obituary
Funeral Dennis Earl " Big D" Freeman, age 49 of Batson, will be held Thursday May 15, 2008 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Gary Orr officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. Freeman passed away Saturday May 10, 2008 in a Beaumont Hospital after a brief illness.
Dennis was born October 22, 1958 in Henderson, He graduated from Channelview High School in 1977, and received his masters degree in vocational education from Sam Houston State University in 1983. He taught agriculture science for the West Hardin ISD in Saratoga for 25 years.
He is survived by his parents Earl & Earlene Freeman of Henderson, sister Sue Smith of Channelview, niece Natalie Smith of New Caney, special aunt & uncle Barbara & Dean Cravey of Henderson, other aunts & uncles Dorotha Dot Cain , Fay Scarborough & husband Tom , Kay Holt & Husband Kenneth , Diane Baker & husband Daryl , J.C. Freeman & wife Sharon , William Freeman , Taylor Freeman & wife Reba , Paul Freeman & wife Linda all of Henderson, and Betty Jo Hippler, Special friends Eddie & Shobie Nichols of Batson, Janice Kay Guedry of Liberty & Bob & Lesa Guedry of Batson. Numerous cousins of the Henderson area.
Pallbearers will be Richard Dorsey, Taylor Freeman, William Freeman, Daryl Cravey, Jake Cravey, Bobby Freeman, Tom Scarborough, Jeffrey Harrelson. Honorary Pallbearer will be Kenneth Holt.
The family will meet friends from 9am – 11am Thursday at the funeral home.
