Dennis Byrd's Obituary
Dennis was born in Houston, Texas. He was raised in Beaumont, Texas but lived in Longview, Texas about twenty-nine years. He worked in the oilfield most of his life and he also surveyed. He was retired when he passed. He loved to play music and fish.
Mr. Byrd was preceded in death by his father by his father, William Byrd; grandmothers, Lucy Westmoreland and Myrtle Byrd; his brother Neal Byrd; Aunts, Betty Patterson, Marie Clark, Dale Sheffield, Marie Barnes, Belra Maddox and one uncle Junior Westmoreland.
His survivors include his wife Connie Byrd of Longview; mother Edna Byrd of Beaumont; sister Cindy Bienvenu of Beaumont; Brothers, Eddie Byrd of Burkeville and Gary Byrd of Beaumont. One sister-in-law Cora Byrd Burkeville. He had two children from a previous marriage; John and Dena Byrd. Four nieces and nephews as well as seven great nieces and nephews.
