My mother, Carol Gilley grew up just a short way away from the Muckleroy farm and considered Deloris and Glenda to be among her best friends. I remember hunting easter eggs there as a child, and visiting with Deloris, Lamar, Jay and Julie at their house in Longview. I am sad to learn of her passing, but know that her and my mother had a great reunion. - Lee Rainwater
Just talked to Cliff and he wants me to share how much he loves you all. Deloris was so good to him keeping him and Julie! Jay was special to him. He said he was upset with us got on his electric motorcycle and drove straight down to your house to feel love and understanding! Wasnt suppose to leave and get on street with his own transportation...

She and I had so much fun with cake decorating she taught me me so much and at first class I did a wedding cake!
I opened my florists and she worked half day
and was a great designer -employee and friend

Julie & Jay, It's bittersweet to learn of the passing of your sweet mother. The positivity she placed in my life was consistant from childhood Brownie/Girl Scout groups to random encounters in recent years while out shopping or dining. Always pleasant, smiling, and interested in sharing and receiving updates about our families. We will miss her.
