DeDe Howell
Graveside services for DeDe Howell, 62, of Longview will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Thursday, October 4, at her residence in Longview.
DeDe was born July 26, 1950 in Marshall to Columbus and Mildred McBride. She was a former telephone operator with Southwestern Bell in Longview. A former resident of Overton, she worked for Brookshire's there in the meat department for 11 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Columbus Herbert McBride; her mother, Mildred Faye Haden; step-father, Floyd Haden; and brothers, Frankie Dale McBride and Danny Clay McBride.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Kevin Hill of Longview; granddaughters, Alexis Hill of Arp and Carley Dennard and Makenzee Hill both of Longview; her great grandson, Preston Layne Hill; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
