Debra Sue Barnard Moore
Debra Sue Barnard Moore of League City, TX stepped into eternity on November 19th 2013, surrounded by her family and extended loved ones in Longview, after a short battle with cancer. Debbie was born August 8th, 1951 in Hallsville, TX, to Willie and Nancy Barnard and was the youngest of their 6 children. Debbie graduated from Longview High School in 1969. She married Roy Vaughn Moore of Pine Tree in July of 1969. Debbie enjoyed sewing, cooking and many other hobbies, but she was always happiest spending time with her family and friends. Debbie will be most remembered for how she always put others before herself, finding joy and satisfaction in the success of those whom she loved.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 44 years - Roy Moore of League City, TX; 2 daughters and 1 son - Michelle Moore Wylie and Lucas Hawk of Longview, TX; Misty Moore Finney and Dr. Reed Finney of Panama City, FL; Jason Moore and Crystal Moore of Houston, TX; 7 grandsons - James Fillmore and Maegan Kump of Oak Harbor, WA; Michael Fillmore and Carrie Fillmore of Ft. Huachuca, AZ; Joey Campbell and Masey Campbell of Longview, TX; Dylan Moore of Winona, TX; Aiden, Preston and Ethan Moore of Houston, TX; 3 great-grandsons - Gaige Fillmore of Longview, TX; Cadence Campbell of Longview, TX; Jackson Fillmore of Oak Harbor, WA.
She is also survived by her 3 sisters and 1 brother - Patsy Dial of Big Sandy, TX; Thomas W. Barnard of Corpus Christi, TX; Nell Farmer of Nederland, TX; Joyce Wooten of Ore City, TX.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Nancy Barnard, and her brother Doyle Barnard.
A memorial service will be held Saturday November 23rd at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
