Steve, Andy,
I am extremely sorry to learn of your father's passing. He was a very close and dear friend since our days at Gulf and then the refinery. I would usually call once a quarter and we would talk for about an hour, just catching up on things. When I could not reach him last Friday, I did a little digging and learned he had died. He was very proud of his family, what you both have accomplished, his daughter-in-law the professor, and his grand daughter.

I met Dave and your Mother when they moved to Longview and bought a home through
Coldwell Banker Lenhart Properties. (I was a realtor with Coldwell Banker). I remember his enthusiasm, high energy and friendly nature. He spoke often about his sons and how proud he was of their accomplishments......when I would run into him in the community.
I am so sorry for the loss of both your parents. Barbara Norton
Several months ago, Dave & I were talking about our mutual love for New England .He told me he was going to see his family in Conn. I told him I had lived there for 4 years & told him where! I told him when I left I cried all the way to Danville! I did tell me if he wasn't going to put me in the suitcase I asked him to eat a tuna grinder for me. He told me he was a diabetic & he didn't
Think that would be good for his diabetes.when he came back we had a great conversation about New England & the leaves that were turn. I will never forget him & I am so glad I have known him
More than anything he loved his boys Andi & Steve. He never stopped talking about his precious granddaughter ! He told me she was the light of his life ! I can relate to that because I have 3 grandsons ! They. Are the lights of my life. I know how muchYou will miss your Dad, because I have missed mine so much !
I can tell you that Dave will be with you always on your hearts
His granddaughter heart & his love will show through all of you .
Dave has been an integral part of St.Andrew with teaching keregma & just being there for any one that had a question he was a kind & carding man & I will Miss him so much .
