Mack, Linda and David's family: I was saddened to hear of David's death. How vividly I remember my family moving to Lufkin in the early 1950's and meeting Betty Coward and her two wonderful twin sons. They were special to our family. May God Give You Strength During This Time of Sadness In Your Life.##imported-begin##JOAN NORRIS HOPSON##imported-end##

David was at our LHS class reunion April 2005 and the Coward Twins were outgoing and full of good humor and as always "the life of the party". We will miss him and pray for his family in the days ahead.##imported-begin##Kathleen Welch Jumper##imported-end##

I will miss Davids great smile, laughter, great quotes and always always telling me a joke or a story of some kind. Always "doing good and getting better" was his theme. We knew from the minute David walked into to the door of Spring Hill State Bank we would be in for a time of laughter and a little deal making! I've known David for many years and was proud to be one of his "favorite bankers" as he used to say. He will be missed...my prayers go out to the family. Constantly remind Parker of his poopaw and keep all those memories...that is what will help you make it day by day. David Coward was one of a kind...he will be extremely missed.##imported-begin##Tammy gibbons##imported-end##
