I just recently learned of David's passing. I went to PT school with David at Texas State. He was such a nice and genuine guy. We spent many hours studying together and one of the things I remember was his constant need to know "why". Most of us in the program, myself included, were happy to accept the fact that the professor said it and that was what would be on the test. Not David. He wanted to fully understand the background, the mechanics... the "why". I think that is one of the characteristics that made him such a good clinician. I was also always impressed by how people were drawn to David. He was so genuine and people picked up on that. It made people want to be around him. He was such a great guy. I know he will be missed by many. My prayers are with his family. Travis Williams

I just learned of David's passing over 2 yrs ago. We were good friends at Roosevelt HS, and attended St John Newman Catholic Church together. He was an elite tennis player, but never acted like he was better than anyone else. He was always kind to everyone. After HS, when I was attending Texas A&M, he played in a tournament as a member of SFA. Though he was obviously busy with the tournament, he was sure to reach out and visit his friends. The last time I saw him was at our (?) 20 yr HS reunion. We were scheduled to play golf together, but unfortunately got rained out. Still got to spend quality time together, and met his wife then. I am so sorry for your loss! David was a truly great person, and I know he had his priorities straight always putting God and his family first. May you rest in peace, my friend!

I knew David way back in the day. We attended Southwest Texas State University together. He was always a kind, gentle, happy person. I am so very sorry for your family’s loss. Heaven has truly gained another angel!

While a patient at CORE, I had the pleasure of having David as one of my therapists. He, of course, was my favorite! He helped relieve my discomfort even though I knew he was very ill.

The pictures on the wall in his office showed his love of his family. I would asked about the different pictures and he would smile warming and tell me about them.

May his family find comfort and joy in knowing that he is with is Lord and Savior.

David was a proud graduate of our program and always gave back whenever he could. His infectious smile and can-do spirit will be missed. In his memory, we made a donation to the American Cancer Society.

I was fortunate and blessed to work with David at CORE for 7 years. He was always excited and willing to help anyone that came through the CORE doors to getting them back to 100%. He also was researching and learning new techniques to help improve the way he treated and helped his patients. He was always a joy to work with and be around.
