David L. Hester's Obituary
David L. Hester, 65, of Longview, TX passed away Saturday May 4, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Hester was born in Houston, TX on January 8, 1948 to Charles Hester and Alma Jean Thorpe. He was a 1966 graduate of Longview High School and attended Kilgore College. He was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church and enjoyed working with the youth. He loved life and loved being a grandpa "Grumps".
He is survived by his son Chadd Hester of McKinney, TX, daughter Angela Mulanax and husband Terek of Longview, TX, Sisters Karen Hegner and husband Gerard of Dallas, TX and Mary Hurt of Little Rock, AR, grandchildren Gracie Hester and Blakelee Mulanax. He is also survived by Carol Hester, Allison Westbrook, and Michelle Arredondo.
He was preceded in death by his mother Alma Jean Scott, father Charles Hester, and brother Michael Hester.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 7, 2013 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and a Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday May 8, 2013 at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Longview at 10:00am.
