David Carl Wilcox's Obituary
Funeral services for David Carl Wilcox, age 80 of Henderson, will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Don Copeland and Dr. David Higgs officiating.
David Carl Wilcox was born April 8, 1932 in Rusk, Texas to John William & Emma Wilcox and died November 5, 2012 in Tyler.
Carl was a loving husband, wonderful father and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a retired insurance salesman, and was a member of the Union Hill Baptist Church in Rusk. He will be loved and missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and many brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife Billie who he married on August 26, 1955 in Jacksonville, son Lannie Wilcox and wife Michele of Henderson, daughter Karon Glass & husband Keith of Tyler. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 4 sisters.
Pallbearers will be David Todd Glass, David Drew Wilcox, David Ryan Wilcox, Zakre Ray Wilcox, Kenneth Arrington, and Tracey Arrington.
Visitation will be from 9am ~ 11am Wednesday at the funeral home.
