What a shock!...I was looking for him via the internet to say hello....I had no idea of his passing. Bubba was the dearest person I have ever known, he was an angel to all who has lost their path. I was a kid out of college and straight out of my parent's house. I met Bubba on my first day at work and he remained a close friend and a life line @ times during my stay. He always put everyone else's needs in front of his own. I miss our cookouts on the pontoon and his perfect hugs. God must have been busy and needed a helper. I miss you buddy.

Dear Bubba,
I will always remember your kindness through our days at Ware Acres, through Foster, and Longview High. Your big bright smile will always be in my mind. Until I meet you forever in heaven, it was my pleasure being your friend here on earth.##imported-begin##Ricky Lynn Gregg##imported-end##
Heaven just got a little sweeter with Bubba being there now. He already had his wings before he took the trip to his final resting place. Bubba was an angel on earth...he and Donny Wheeler helped me with my wheelchair needs through the past 15 years, always with a big smile and giving heart. I am so blessed, to have known Bubba. He will truly be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family.##imported-begin##Judie Moffett##imported-end##

Gloria,
I was sad to hear that Bubba passed away. I know when I worked S400 and would see Bubba in the halls, he always had such a uplifting smile and was truly a blessing to everyone that crossed his path. I know your heart must be hurting but one day we will see Bubba again with his sweet smile and kind heart. May God keep you close and comfort you during this time.

I dated Bubba in High School and he was one of the most caring and giving persons I ever knew. Everyone loved Bubba and he loved them back. I had not talked with him since right after high school but he is always one of the people that I think of when I think of Longview High. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.##imported-begin##Betsy Hagemeyer Simon##imported-end##
Hey Bubba!
I was in Longview this past weekend with my family for Easter and picked up the paper on Saturday and read about your passing then my heart sank.
I was comforted in knowing that it was only 9:30 a.m. and I still had time to make it to your grave side service by 11. Doesn't the Lord work in mysterious ways?
While attending your service, I could not help but reflect upon the many memories of a friendship that started out in Ware Acres then Ware Elementary through Foster Jr. High then on to LHS.
Bubba, you were always the "Big Brother" that I never had and I will always remember and cherish our friendship.
I last spoke to you 3 years ago by phone and you mentioned to me "Bring your boys down and we will take them crappie fishing". I really wish I had made the time to hook up with you so we could have taken the boys out to go fishing.
I spoke with your mom after the service and told her that during the service when the birds were singing in the distance that I could feel your presence and truly believe that we all have a Guardian Angel watching over us all from Heaven. Just as you watched over so many during your earthly life.
You will be truly missed by many, but never forgotten. Happy hunting and fishing in Heaven and the next time I am with my boys on the lake or in the woods we will do so every time in your honor!
Take care buddy and rest in peace and save a few of the big one's for me until we meet again in Heaven!
Your brother!
