David Alan Leath's Obituary
David Alan Leath went to be with his Lord on August 18, 2006 at his residence in Dallas. He attended Pine Tree Schools and Kilgore College. He enjoyed Little League Baseball and the Boy Scout Program. He was an avid Fisherman and loved camping and the outdoors. He worked in Computer Graphics in the Dallas Area for many years.
He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents Gus and Maud Young of Winnsboro, and his Paternal Grandparents Oscar and Clella Leath of Longview.
David is survived by his parents Oscar and Madelyn Leath of Longview, his sister, Karen Leath Sewell of Dallas, daughter, Chelsea Leath of Houma, La. and nephew Samuel Sewell of Dallas. Uncles and Aunts: Robert and Mary Jo Leath of Longview, Eveleyn and Johnnie Henderson of Forney and Joe and Patty Young of Mt. Vernon and many Cousins.
Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon from 4pm until 6pm.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday Morning at Elderville Cemeterey Led by Dr. Rick Webb Chaplain at Buckner Westminster and a Family friend.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Amercian Heart Association or to Elderville Cemetery Fund 8531 FM 2011 Longview, Tx. 75603 in Lieu of Flowers.
