Danny V. Weddle's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danny V. Weddle of Longview Texas, on Sunday February 7th 2021. Danny will lovingly be remembered by his family: wife of 53 years- Diane and children: Kevin Weddle and Scott (Tanya) Weddle. He will also be fondly remembered by his beautiful grand-daughters Kelsie and Maddison Weddle as well as his surviving sister Joyce Weddle. Danny had preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Ruth Weddle of The Plains, Ohio, his sister Judy Gray of Amelia, Ohio, Diana Florence of California and infant brother Dennis Weddle.
Danny was born on June 8th 1946 of Athens Ohio. He was a proud veteran that joined the Air Force in 1965 and later married his wife, Diane, on June 8th 1967. After leaving the Air Force he retired from Verizon Network Communications of 33 years. He was a faithful member of the Lions Club of Daingerfield Texas. In Danny’s spare time he spent doing what he loved, spending time with his family, coaching little league baseball, soccer, and of course fishing. His infectious laugh and fun-loving personality will be missed by all.
Memorial services will be held on March 20th, 2021 at 1:00pm at Rosewood Park at 1844 FM 1844 Longview, Tx.75605. In lieu of flowers all donations can be sent to https://everloved.com/life-of/danny-weddle/donate, or be donated to the Heart Occasion or Diabetes Occasion on Danny’s behalf. Arrangements are under the care of Rader Funeral Home, Longview.
