I'm sorry I did not hear of Danny's passing sooner. Danny and I grew up together in Elderville, our parents property joined and JC and my dad N.J. Schochler worked together at Texas Eastman for many years. Danny and I used to hunt the woods and ride my horse from time to time and shared many times just sitting and talking. He was a good friend. My heart goes out for each of you girls, and to Robbie. Please know you are all in my prayers, and again I am so sorry I did not hear of this earlier.

Dear Lindsey and Jessica, I've known your dad for years! I worked in the GE Supply office in Dallas and knew him as a "drummer". Then I became an outside electrical rep calling on East Texas. Danny and all the guys Pat, Ric, Roy, Richard, Russell were and are all my favorites. I took a small break and opened an excercise and dancewear shop, which is where I would see your sweet, sweet mom Barbara. Every so often Danny or Ric or Leisa would pop in the shop to say "'hi". Anyway long story short I ended back working full time at GE SUPPLY - Tyler. I was Danny's inside sales person for the Carrier account for at least 10 years. My dad worked with him and my husband has worked with him and his knowledge and experience will be greatly missed. We are all very very sorry for your loss.

I don't know where to start. Lindsey and Jessica, you were his pride and joy. I know you will truly miss your dad. He was a kind-hearted, funny, and generous person. We worked together for almost 10 years at GE Supply. He was one of my best friends and I was shocked and heart broken yesterday when Russell Bishop called and told me he passed away. So many stories I could tell, but one that's funny is, anytime I would get mad (at work) he would make squealling noises like two cats fighting. Sometimes it made me madder but most times it made me laugh! Many funny stories... I now live in TN but every time I go back to Tyler I always ask my sister about Danny, Russell, Ric, Garrett, and Richard. We had good times working together. We were just home two weeks ago and as always I asked about the gang. She said she only sees Russell sometimes. I always thought I would see Danny again someday, was so shocked to hear of his passing. God bless you all! And when I knew Danny, he loved your mom Barbra to the moon and back!!

Lindsey and Jessica, I have a few memories of Danny but the one that really stands out has to do with carving and cooking! Him and Uncle Scooter stringing up a pig from the tractor at the barn and getting the chainsaws out and knifes. With every cut he would sling some meat on the tailgate and show all the girls the disgusting bloody mess and laugh because he got a rise outof us! He was a great man, a master griller and loved you girls! He will forever be missed! And now he and my Dad are swapping stories in Heaven! We love y'all!

I am so sorry for your loss. Danny and I were friends since the day I started at GE Supply in 1985. We had some great times together. I will always cherish those memories. Every time we talked, he would fill me in on how you were doing. He was so proud of you.
