Danny Joe Simtherman's Obituary
Services for Danny Joe Smitherman, 63, of Longview will be 10 AM Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ronnie Watson officiating. Mr. Smitherman died Monday morning at a local hospital. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening.
Danny Joe Smitherman was born on November 4, 1941 in Marshall Texas to D.A. and Ruby Smitherman. He graduated from Hallsville High School in 1960. He has lived in the Longview area all of his life and was a member of Mobberly Baptist Church. He proudly served his country and was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force. He also owned and operated Smitherman Machine for a number of years.
He was preceded in death by his Father. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Tabitha Smitherman of Longview; Mother Ruby Smitherman of Longview; 3 brothers, Michael Smitherman of Longview, Claude and wife Ruby Jo Smitherman of Longview, and Clyde and wife Mary Smitherman of West Monroe, La.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
