Danny Glenn Ihlenfeldt's Obituary
Funeral services for Danny Glenn Ihlenfeldt, 45, of Overton will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson with Bro. Billy Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery. Danny passed away Monday August 29, 2016 in Tyler. He was born August 20, 1971 to Steve Ihlenfeldt and Jo Ann Poindexter in Houston, TX.
Danny loved the medieval times. He loved Vikings, watching The Walking Dead, playing Playstation and was an avid Dr. Pepper drinker. Danny was a General Contractor and he and his wife owned their own business and worked together every day at Constructive Ideas.
Mr. Ihlenfeldt was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Ann Ramey and his brother, Billy Lane.
Survivors include his wife, Penny Layne Ihlenfeldt of Overton, TX; father, Billy Ramey of Arp, TX; sons, D.J. Ihlenfeldt and Justin Ihlenfeldt; daughter Nikki Kelley; step-son, Mitchell McCormick of Henderson, TX; step-daughter, Shelby Wells of Overton, TX; brother, Stephen Ihlenfeldt of Arp, TX and sisters, Bonnie Burks of Wright City, TX and Wendy Young of Waco, TX.
Also surviving are his grandchildren, Ashton, Abbigail, Kyrah, Esmee, McKenzie and Carter.
Pallbearers will be D.J. Ihlenfeldt, Mitchell McCormick, Stephen Ihlenfeldt, B.J. Wilson, Brian Brown, John Robertson, Michael Paul Williams and Wesley Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Ihlenfeldt and Bud Morris. The family has set up an account for donations at Texas Bank and Trust in Overton under Penny L. Ihlenfeldt Memorial Fund for Danny Glenn Ihlenfeldt.
