Daniel Joseph Gremillion
Funeral services for Daniel Joseph Gremillion, 45, of Longview will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2007 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home, Lake Charles, LA with Father Wayne LeBlew officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memory Gardens, Lake Charles. He passed away Tuesday evening, October 30, in Longview as a result of a motorcycle accident.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Rader Funeral Home, Longview and a scripture service at 7 p.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home, Lake Charles.
Mr. Gremillion was born July 6, 1962 in Lake Charles to Huey Paul and Bette Gremillion. He has been a resident of Longview for the past 2 years moving from Jacksonville, TX where he lived for 4 years moving from Lake Charles. He was a machinist for Anvil Products and was a longtime roofer for Morgan Roofing Co. in Lake Charles. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Huey Paul Gremillion.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shonda Gremillion of Longview; daughter, Mandy Joy Gremillion of Lake Charles; son, Derek Joseph Gremillion of Vinton, LA; step-daughter, Stephanie Garza of Longview; step-son, T. R. Gough of Kilgore; grandchildren, Hannah, Morgan Leeann, Carmen, Christopher, and Liam; mother, Bette Gremillion of Lake Charles; brother, John Gremillion of DeQuincy, LA; twin brother, Donald Gremillion of Ferriday, LA; sister, Paula Theriot of Lake Charles; and several nieces and nephews.
