Daniel Harvey Knowles' Obituary
Funeral services for Dan Knowles, 91, of Ore City, will be 10 AM Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Rev. Gary Hill officiating. Burial will follow at 4 PM at Blue Bonnet Hills Cemetery in Colleyville, Texas.
Mr. Knowles died Sunday evening, September 22, 2002 at a local hospital.
Born July 16, 1911 in Loan, Texas he had lived in this area for 14 years coming from Roanoke-Hurst Texas area. He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church at Lake O? the Pines. Mr. Knowles was in construction work all his life.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Padgett Knowles; Daughters, Patsy Knowles of Dorchester, TX and Carolyn Beaty of Blue Ridge, TX.; sons, Kenneth Knowles of North Richland Hills, TX, Jerry Knowles of Mesquite, Roger Knowles of Direct, TX, Allen Knowles of Denton and Ronnie Knowles of Ignacio, Colorado; 25 Grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; his brother, Otis Knowles of Ft. Worth, TX.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Knowles and his daughters, Faye Leeth and Sue McKinney.
