Funeral services for Daniel E. Whelan, Jr. 75 of Longview will be held at Ten O?clock AM Tuesday March 6, 2007 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home. Burial will be in Colonial Gardens in Marshall, Texas under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
He was born December 2, 1931 in Dallas, Texas to Daniel and Patricia Niland Whelan. He was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church.
He is survived by two sons, Dan Whelan, III and wife Gloria of Mineola, TX.; Stephen Whelan and wife Jody of Ellinwood, KS.; grandchildren, Brett Whelan, Sheehan Whelan, nephew, Bill Wood of Longview, special friend and companion Marilyn Lee of Marshall, TX.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening March 5, 2007 from 6pm to 8pm.
