Graveside services for Daniel Douglas Powell, 42, of Longview will be held at Two O?clock PM Monday May 19, 2003 at Rosewood Park Cemetery with Reverend Herman Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Powell passed away Saturday May 17, 2003 in Longview.
He was born May 23, 1960 in Dallas, Texas and had lived in Longview the past thirty seven years. He was employed by Trinity Industries in the shipping and receiving department .
He is survived by his wife Valerie of Longview; daughter Jessica Powell of Dallas, TX; son, Welby Powell of Longview; step-son, Jacob Dortch of Longview; mother, Alice Powell Jackson of Longview; brother, Paul Burnett of Big Sandy, TX.; three uncles, Kenneth Powell of Diana, TX.; Gary Powell of Diana, TX.; Glen Halyard of Lindale, TX.; father and mother-in-law, Ron & Ramona Rector of Harker Heights, TX.;
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday May 18, 2003 from 6 pm until 8 pm.
