Daniel Clinton Cameron's Obituary
Daniel Clinton Cameron
Daniel was born on October 21, 1987, in Orange, California. He went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 after being involved in a motorcycle accident. Daniel graduated from Spring Hill High School in 2006, and was an honor graduate in the top ten percent. After graduation, Daniel joined the U. S. Marine Corp where he served proudly and honorably for 4 years, which included 2 tours in Iraq. Daniel was attending the University of Texas in Austin, and was on the Magna Cum Laude Dean's List. While attending UT Daniel met the love of his life, Erin Lyon and they had begun making plans for their future. Daniel had aspired to attend law school upon graduation from the University of Texas.
Daniel was a great musician and artist, but he prided himself on his scholastic aptitude and wit. Daniel had the most amazing blue eyes that always sparkled and lit up a room. His laugh was ever present and contagious to those around him. He also had a heart of gold and was a very family oriented young man. He loved his family and will always be the best "Bubba" he could have ever been. Daniel was loved by many and was an inspiration to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert "Bob" Cameron and great grandmother, Estelle Fleisher.
Daniel is survived by his parents, Vance and Toni Cameron of Longview, and Jim and Patricia Frake of Gladewater sisters, Meagan and Brooke Cameron and Trinity Frake; brothers, Michael, Samuel and Ozzie Frake; grandparents, Fugi and Ann Fuchilla, Virgie Cameron and Bill Attebery, Judy and Roy Biggerstaff, Jimmy Jernigan, and Gary and Beth West and Leone Frake; great grandparents Homer Fleischer and Jean Jernigan, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Pastor Dean Simmons and Monsignor Xavier Pappu officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
