Dan E. Young's Obituary
Memorial services for Dan E. Young, age 54 of Henderson, will be at 2PM Tuesday December 3, 2013 at New London Methodist Church with Reverends Romnie Scott and Jim Hilton officiating. Dan died Friday, November 29, 2013 in a Longview hospital. Dan was the music director for the New London Methodist Church and was a very accomplished pianist. He played for numerous parties, weddings, and funerals across East Texas. He was a member of the Tyler social scene. Dan was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Malene Young and one niece. He is survived by his brother Jim Young and wife Mary of Henderson, long time friend and companion Brad Watkins of Henderson ,nieces Sarah Rasor and husband Jake of Henderson, Rachel Young and husband Caleb of Georgia, two nephews, Seth and Michael Young,1 great niece ,Bonnie Young and 1 great nephew Daniel Barnett .He is also survived by several cousins and a vast amount of friends. Visitation will be 1-2 PM Tuesday at the Church.
