I remember Danny as a cute guy and a great football player at Miller. He was one year behind me so I didn't see him all the time. I was told that he was one of the best punt blockers and wore blue shoes. Coach Richardson called them his "blue suede shoes." My heart goes out to his family and friends. I was very sorry to hear about Dannyâ??s passing and wish to extend my sincerest condolences to his family and friends. I went to high school with Danny but really began to know him better while we were both attending Del Mar College. He, Bill Goodwin and I car-pooled and shared many good times while struggling through the transition to college life. Danny was always an upbeat guy who enjoyed life to itâ??s fullest and would always bring laughter into whatever it was we were doing.
He was a great guy and even though we did not see much of each other the last several years I will always have fond memories of our time spent together. I would like to extend my prayers to you Michelle, and your family. I can still hear and see Danny in my mind when we were in school and at church. I was so glad to see him at the Miller class reunion and see how he had changed from high school. He looked fabulous! He will be missed. We were all so sad to hear about Danny. We were all neighbors on Cornelia Circle and we all had so many neighborhood memories and school memories. I will always see his smiling face. His family was such a nice family.
