Dan Bruce Foster, 67, was born December 8, 1956 and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by his family on Friday, May 3, 2024.
Dan Bruce Foster was born to Ed and Eleanor Foster on December 8, 1956 in Sulphur, La. He graduated from Pine Tree High School in 1975. He married the love of his life Becky Reed Foster, October 29, 1977. Dan and Becky made their home in Longview, Texas, where they raised their three wonderful children. Dan had a long, successful career in the Oil and Gas industry, retiring from Top Line Rentals in 2023. Throughout his career, Dan served on the board of directors for many organizations in his industry. One of his proudest volunteer accomplishments was being a founding member for the Taste of the Oil Patch organization which benefits the children of the Truman Smith Hospital. When Dan wasn’t working, he thoroughly enjoyed spending his days with his best friends at his farm or the deer lease, and he loved to crappie fish. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ed and Eleanor Foster. He leaves behind his loving wife, Becky Foster, his three children and spouses, Sonya and husband Don, Seth and wife Katy and Symon and wife Rachel, and his pride and joy, his ten grandchildren, Austin, Calob, Jacob, Easton, Ensley, Elly, Avery, Hadley, Emery, and Stetson. He also leaves behind siblings, Jim Foster and wife Sue, Bob Foster and wife Sherry, Jan Belcher and husband Danny, along with many more family members and friends.
Visitation for will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, TX. Funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Longview, TX. There will be a celebration of life Friday evening at 6 pm at Wylde Acres in Longview, Tx
