Dan Duggan Sr.'s Obituary
Funeral services for Dan Duggan Sr. age 85 of Henderson, will be held Saturday May 12, 2012 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Dan Duggan Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Rusk County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Duggan died Wednesday May 9, 2012 in a Longview Hospital.
Dan was born November 19, 1926 in Many, La. to Hoyt W. and Lola Belle Duggan. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. Mr. Duggan was a retired Lieutenant from the Texas Dept. of Public Safety, and was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Duggan, parents, a brother Don Duggan, and granddaughter Jackie Hutton.
He is survived by his daughters, Frances Duggan of Henderson, and Linda Hower, and husband Wayne of Reno, Nev., son, Dan Duggan Jr. & wife Polly Anne of Brandon, Miss., brother, Hoyt Duggan and wife Gail of Charlottesville, Va., sister Ramona Kirkpatrick of Blanchard, La., grandchildren Kiri O'Gwynn of Brandon, Miss, and Ian Hanson of Jackson, Miss., great grandchildren Evie O'Gwynn, and Gracie O'Gwynn.
Pallbearers will be members of the Texas Dept. Public Safety.
Visitation will be from 12pm ~ 2pm before the service Saturday
