Our City of Irving retirees monthly luncheons will not be the same without Damon and we are so very sorry for your loss. We miss his "Hello Kiddo" greeting and his response to how he is doing with "Super Great, Super Great!" I had the pleasure of helping Damon write his book which kept Damon so busy this past year as he thoroughly enjoyed going down memory lane. Rest in peace to my good friend and love and prayers to his family.
My former neighbor, Damon, was an interesting fellow. He was very meticulous about his yard and I, unfortunately, could never seem to keep up with him. My 2 children enjoyed the company of his son and Cindy, and we missed all of the Southards when a job opportunity led to us leaving Texas.
