Dalt,
What a hole you're leaving in my heart! Never to hear you call me "Sugie" or "Sugar Foot" any more....never to tell me more of your many stories of things that were peculiar to the areas you had lived in or visited, or the Bermuda Triangle, or Paris, France, or any of the many other places that you transported me to through the years! Never to create a rush of excitement over possible buried treasures, or any of many other things that we talked about!
I rocked my children and my grandchildren to the same nameless "Dum, dum, te dum, te dum, te dum, te dum" tune that you rocked each of your boys to sleep with!
Our lives are great tapestries woven together with many precious memories: The Shipley Donut Shop in Alvin,TX, the Malt Shop down the street, the trip to Six Flags in Arlington the first season that it was open, the first time that I saw and tasted a McDonald's burger, ....Yes, you loved me, I loved you!
You were my movie star handsome idol always singing and so charming to me in my early teens. You were one of my heroes from the time you entered my life when I was 5 or 6 years old. You brought me Tinkertoys, and LeTourneau scale model construction equipment and maybe, even dolls on occasion.
Thanks for the memories too numerous and too precious to mention.
I am glad that you have gone to sit by the throne of God!
I hope to see you again some day!
Love and good-bye to my favorite brother-in-law,
