Dalton Wade Crisler's Obituary
Funeral services for Dalton Wade Bubba Crisler, 66, of Longview, will be 10 AM Thursday at New Beginnings Baptist Church with Reverend Dick Stagner officiating. Interment will be at 2:30 PM in Tulip Memorial Cemetery, Athens, Louisiana. Visitation will be 7 to 9 PM Wednesday at Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
A native of Athens, LA, he was born October 23, 1935 and had lived in Longview since 1990. Mr. Crisler had worked for Cities Service Oil and Gas for 24 years as operations superintendent for the southern states and worked for Niject for 11 years as a technician in Oklahoma and Hawkins, Texas. He was a member of New Beginnings Baptists Church and taught youth and adult Sunday school. Mr. Crisler was a deacon in the baptist church for 35 years ordained in August, 1967 and was always involved in doing things for people.
Mr. Crisler is survived by his wife: Mary B. Crisler of Longview, whom he married January 9, 1955 in Mansfield, LA.; Children: Michael W. Crisler of Longview, Sheri Hardaway of Longview and Eric Crisler of Rowlett, TX; Grandchildren: Jeffrey Crisler, Jonathan Crisler, Steven Hardaway, Kendra Crisler; Great Grandson; Braydon Tyler Davis of Las Vegas; Brothers: Donald Crisler of Longview, Bill Crisler of Minden, La, Pete Crisler of Gilmer, TX, Jim Crisler of Athens, LA., John Crisler of Shreveport, LA; Sister: Rita Williams of Shreveport, LA. And 13 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: W. M. and Dessie Hawk Crisler.
