Dallas Morris, Jr., 62, of Houston, passed away Aug. 13, 2005. Mr. Morris was born June 4, 1943 in Marion County, Texas to Dallas Morris, Sr. & Ruby Sharp
Morris. He worked as a heavy crane operator all over the country. He settled in Houston and resided there for the past 15 years. Dallas will be remembered for his funny stories and wild sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his parents and is lovingly survived by his wife of 32 years, Gail Grigsby Morris of Houston; son, Dallas Morris, III of Rowlett, Texas; sisters, Bobbie Simmons & husband J.C. of Longview, Texas; Charlene Creamer & husband Lloyd of Denton, TX; and Norma Rich & husband Buddy of Jefferson, Texas; Gail's children, James McCarty & wife Cindy, Diana Simmons & husband David; Kevin Kaufman & wife Mary of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; along with 8 grandchildren,
and 7 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd., in Longview. Graveside services are set for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005 in Smyrna Cemetery in Harleton, Texas.
