Graveside services for Dallas Cormier, 77, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Saturday, October 9, 2004 in Gum Springs Cemetery with the Reverend Scott Schulik officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview 1617 Judson Road.
Mr. Cormier was born on October 5, 1927 in Rayne, Louisiana to Adeo and Femme Cormier. He passed away on Wednesday evening, October 6, 2004 in a Longview hospital.
Mr. Cormier was retired from Texas Eastman and was a member of Mobberly Baptist Church.
A loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Mr. Cormier was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Troyse Blackmon of Tyler; son and daughter-in-law Terry and Tomoe Cormier of Yakota AFB, Japan; grandchildren, Lei and Lance Blackmon of Tyler; Ashley, Alex, and Isamu Cormier of Yakota AFB, Japan; as well as two great grandchildren, Sybil Blackmon, and Ethan Cormier.
