My prayers are with all 3 of you. I'm so sorry I couldn't be at the funeral, but in a very bittersweet way it was really nice to be able to reconnect with you at the hospital. Your dad was a very lucky man to have such wonderful and loving daughters.

Lynn, Greta, and our family wish to express how precious he was to us and my mother. I will look at mother and see that same smile she and Dale shared. The older they got the more they favored each other. Mother always enjoyed the visits at her nursing home, from her baby brother, even though she may have been having a bad day. Dale always took time to talk to our children about their golf games, etc...........He even helped Julie participate in golf tournaments, held by an insurance group, lasting several years starting when she was only 8 years old. She was quiet good for her age and he seemed very proud to represent her. I can remember going to Pat and Dale's house at a young age and playing with our cousins. I remember my first introduction to Nat King Cole's music at their house and how even as a child I enjoyed it. We always felt there was love and security of a family in their home. Memories are to be cherished and I have some good memories of Aunt Pat and Uncle Dale and our sweet little cousins. God Bless!

Dear family,
I am so sorry for the loss of such a kind-hearted man. He and I had a very sweet visit just a few weeks ago when he was buying groceries in Albertson's where I work.
I will always remember the good times shared with him and Pat during our years together at Calvary Baptist Church, then later at Mobberly.
Please know of my love and prayers for each of you. I appreciate the years of friendship with your family and I know that Mr. Simpkins will be welcomed to Heaven with a big hand shake from Bro. "Slim".
