Dale Eston Hall's Obituary
Dale Eston Hall, August 15, 1963 – May 5, 2025, was born in Odessa, Texas to Mary and Harlan Hall and moved to Longview in 1969.
Dale was a member of First Baptist Church, Longview and Hyde Park Church, Austin, Texas.
He was a graduate of Longview High School and Austin Community College and participated in numerous advanced courses in his field. He was talented in many ways, especially music and various forms of technology. He was a member of the LHS Band and excelled on the trombone. He also loved to grill and cook.
He worked for the State of Texas for many years as a computer specialist and was honored twice as the employee of the month. Dale graciously spent many hours educating his dad on the computer and its many functions.
Dale had a heart of gold and a very compassionate spirit as any friend or family member can tell you. His favorite Scripture was Hebrews 13:8. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
He possessed a great smile, winsome personality, quick wit, and was always ready to help. He had a love for animals, especially dogs including his long-time companion, Patches, who preceded him in heaven just two weeks ago.
Dale is preceded in death by his mother, Mary, and leaves behind his loving father, Harlan, his sister, Diane Rice, brother-in-law Mark Rice, and nephew Justin Rice, plus numerous other family members and a host of friends.
Memorial services will be 11 am Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Ford Chapel of First Baptist Church with Rev. Collin Bullard and Dr Ken Hall officiating under the direction of Rader Funeral Home.
