Daisy Mae Hogue Murray's Obituary
Daisy Mae Hogue Murray, 75 of Gilmer, TX went to be with her Lord and Savior and joining the love of her life Garvin Leroy Murray May 29th 2018 being surrounded by her family. She was born October 11, 1942 in Jefferson, TX.
Left to mourn her are her children Larry Preston and spouse Cathy, Gina Preston and loving companion Dusty Stringer, and Robert Preston and spouse Stephanie, her grandchildren Bryan Preston and spouse Amber, Jacob Preston and spouse Allison, Brandon Darnell, Casey Darnell and spouse Misha, Bobby Preston, Brandy Wilson, Lawrence Preston, Logan Preston, Riley Preston, and eight great grandchildren Alexzander, Gabriella, Emily, and Bryson Preston, Bentley and Winston Wilson, Alexis and Talon Darnell.
Also her siblings and spouses Shirley and Bobby Sawyer, Alice and Denny Youngblood, JT and Wanda Hogue, Hollis Hogue and BJ and Jesse Thomas along with numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her companion “Lil Red” her Pekingese.
Proceeding her in death were her parents Ray and Maybelle Hogue. Grandchildren Ethan Preston and Robert Herrington, sisters Lois Thomas and Chris Sammons, nieces Shirley Thomas and Cynthia Hayes, nephews Charlie Hayes and Don Millar and special friends.
She attended New Beginnings Baptist Church in Gilmer, TX.
Visitation will be Thursday May 31st from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Rader Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday June 1st in Chapel of Rader Funeral Home. Interment will be at Rosewood park following the service.
