Daisy M. Williamson's Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Williamson, 94, of Longview, TX, will be held at 2 PM Saturday, October 4, 2003 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend
David Williamson officiating. Interment will follow in Ore City Cemetery.
Mrs. Williamson died early Friday morning at a local nursing facility.
Daisy was born November 1, 1908 to John and Susan Emma Ferguson, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Longview where she belonged to the Clyde Hall Sunday School Class.
Daisy was the last living charter member of the Longview- Gregg County Teacher?s Association and was an active member of the TRTA. She had been a teacher for 43 years teaching in the Hallsville Independent School District, Chapel Hill ISD and Hallsville ISD.
Mrs. Williamson was preceded in death by parents; her husband, Chester Williamson; sister, Florine Childress and nephew, John Henry Childress.
Daisy is survived by great niece, Toni Childress of Longview; great nephew, Bret Childress of Longview; niece by marriage, Geraldine Childress of Jefferson;
Great great niece, Jessica Childress and great-great nephew, Josh Childress.
