Funeral services for Daisy Allen, 70, of Longview will be held at Twelve O'clock Noon Saturday September 27, 2008 at the Gum Springs Christian Church with Dr. Richard Boulter, Jr. officiating. Internment will follow in Gum Springs Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Allen passed away Wednesday September 24, 2008 in Longview.
She was born March 13, 1938 in Marshall, Texas to Arthur and Lois Oney Fyffe and they preceded her in death. She was a business woman and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Allen, three daughters, Judy Ann Tubbs and husband, Richard of Bonaire, GA., Lisa Marie Slaughter of Waco, TX., Angela Lois Ramirez and husband, Tony of Longview, son Billy Joe Franks, Jr. of Longview, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one brother, Joe Fyffe and wife Judy of Longview, seven sisters, Audrey Willis and husband, Jim of Atlanta, GA.; Joyce Hidalgo and husband Abel of Longview, Carolyn Allen of Longview, Katherine Breedlove of Longview, Dorothy Wages of Longview, Jeanette Fenton and husband, Royce of Longview, Gelinda Medina and husband, Victor of Tyler, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, J. C. Fyffe, Clyde Fyffe and sister Ruby Easley.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Friday September 26, 2008.
