To Mrs. Benton and family,

We were so sad to hear of Mr. DA's passing away. He was such a fine man, always had a smile and words of encouragement when you spoke to him. Doug's parents loved the both of you, and when we got to know you through them, we did too.
Mr. Brinson loved the times he and Mr. DA shared in the Lion's Club. I know Mr. DA will have many friends in heaven to greet him, and maybe he and Mr. Brinson can fry fish for everyone, like they did at the Lion's Club fish fry.

Dear Mrs. Benton, Delbert, and Family.
We just wanted and needed to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. D.A. and I did visitations together for a number of years. He was such a great mentor to me. In fact D.A. is the one who introduced Cheryl and myself to Mrs. Kenneth Mann during one of our visitations. We still have a great friendship with her to this day. Like so many others have said, D.A. was a wonderful man, a true servant, and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Dear Aunt Kathrine, Delbert, Vickie and family,

I really loved Uncle Arlis. I have so many memories of summers with you all. He taught me how to ski and fish and all about sweet tea and hush puppies.

I am so happy that we had spoken several times over the last couple of years. He lived such a good long life and took such good care of his parents. That was always a comfort to his brother out here in California.

My dad's group of loved ones in Heaven really grew this past week.

Dear Mrs. Benton, Delbert, Vickie, Tammy, Kyle, and Tiffany,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Mr. Benton was one of the most kind and gracious men we have ever met.

I had the privilege of knowing Mr. Benton during my 27 years at Longview Bank and Trust. My memories include sending annual "Happy Birthday" letters to Tammy, Tiffany, and Kyle.

Richard remembers the fun times he had hunting with Mr. Benton at the Longview Hunting Club.

The life he lived was one of service to God, his family, and his community. Mr. Benton was such a very special man who will never be forgotten and will be missed by many.
