Cynthia "Cindy" Marie Stence Still's Obituary
Cindy Marie Stence Still, 61, a lifelong resident of Longview, TX, passed away while surrounded by her family and loved ones on December 6, 2017, after a brief but valiant struggle with cancer.
Cindy was born to Robert Earl Stence, Sr. and Patsy Ann Stence Wildrix on November 12. 1956. She was a graduate of Longview High School class of 1974 and Kilgore College Nursing School in 2003 and worked in a number of hospitals and clinics until finding a home at Diagnostic Clinic of Longview, where she was the Coumadin Nurse until her death. Cindy was a natural caregiver and treated her patients as friends and family. Cindy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter to her family and will be sorely missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 37 years, Shane Arthur Still, sons Clay Still (Erin), Keith Still (Lindsay), and Cody Still, (Meagan), mother Patsy Wildrix, brothers Larry Stence, (Lisa), Robert Stence, Eddie Stence (Peggy), and Thomas Stence. She also leaves nine wonderful grandchildren: Haven, Elizabeth, Aubrey, Cheney, Kingston, Colson, Benjy, and Lincoln. Preceding her in death is her father Robert Stence, Sr.
Cindy's memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Chapel of Radar Funeral Home in Longview beginning at 10am. The family would like to thank the many professionals and friends that helped her in the battle with cancer at Longview Regional Hospital, Texas Oncology Longview Cancer Center, and Diagnostic Clinic of Longview. A special thanks to Dr. Sirnivis Rangu, her supervising doctor and great friend.
