Cindy and I had been friends for many decades. Perhaps my most memorable conversation with her was when she called me from Germany after Gary had proposed marriage. She asked me what should she do and I asked what was he like? She said he is just like you and I said wonderful, marry him. She will be greatly missed.
I worked with Cindy at WPS Health Insurance in Madison, WI. After she left the company we continued to keep in touch through email and letters. When she returned to Africa I was so impressed with all of the programs she established and expanded to help those in desperate need.
Cindy was a very kind, thoughtful and God loving person who when she identified a need proceeded to address it. She was a blessing to many people.
