Curtis Ray Mullens' Obituary
Curtis Ray Mullens, 75, died Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 in his home in Longview, Texas with his family by his side.
Curt was born September 2nd, 1948 in Buchannon, West Virginia to Eugene and Hazel Mullens. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, brother Mark Mullens, and brother Densiel Mullens.
Curt is survived by his wife of 50 years Jamie Mullens, sister Eleatha Wilson, brother Stanley Mullens, brother Stewart Mullens, sister Kathy Miller, and brother Larry Mullens, as well as his son Toby Mullens and his wife Amanda Mullens, daughter Cristy Ellis (neé Mullens) and her husband Jimmy Ellis, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Curt will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid reader and loved books. He devoted over 40 years of his life to trucking, and was awarded for 3 million safety miles with USA Truck. Curt truly loved trucking and knew the roads all over the country like the back of his hand.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 10th at Rader Funeral Home from 4-6pm with a brief memorial presentation at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to support the family in this time.
