Creo Bell Driscoll's Obituary
Services for Creo Bell Lyon Barnes Driscoll, 91, of Longview, Texas will be held 4 PM Tuesday , January 21, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel , Longview, with the Reverend Marshall Johnson, Associate pastor of Woodlake Baptist Church of Carrollton, TX officiating. Burial will be in Rosewood Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Driscoll went to be with her Lord Sunday, January 19, 2003.
Mrs. Driscoll was born September 8, 1911 near Ahpeatone, Oklahoma to Wallace Norvell and Florence Peery Lyon. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Dallas while residing there for 50 years. She joined First Baptist Church of Longview having moved here in 1983. She attended Buckner Chapel services and Clairmont Sunday services in later years.
She retired from Oilwell Supply Company in Dallas following 30 years of service. She moved to Longview in 1983 to be closer to fam-ily. She was preceded in death by her husbands Hugh Barnes and Tom Driscoll.
Survivors include a daughter: Pat White, Son in law: R. B. Bob White, Grandson and wife: Rob and Julia White, grandson: Stephen White; Great Granddaughters: Patti and Abby White. Also surviving are her Dallas families: Gerry and Bob Armstrong and Marilyn and Bill Johnson.
So many dear friends enriched her life, angels disguised as friends, is an appropriate description. The family wishes to thank the competent and compassionate staff of the Clairmont Gardens who have been so attentive to recent needs.
The family request memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
