Coy Wayne Green's Obituary
Coy Wayne Green was born in Corsicana, Texas on September 26, 1930, to Frank Green and Alma Fuller Green. At an early age the family moved to Big Sandy where little sister Joann joined the family. With the war, the family moved to Orange, Texas where twin boys, Perry and Nelson joined the family. After the war, they moved back to Big Sandy where Coy completed high school.
He served in the Army during the Korean War. He then began his 32-year career as a Chemical Operator at Texas Eastman.
He met Patsy Watson at Alpine and Glover Church of Christ. They were blessed to celebrate their 60th Anniversary on June 2, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his parent – in – law, Jr. and Sybil Watson; his sister Joann Mackey; his twin brothers, Perry and Nelson; his sister-in-law Hazel Green; and brother-in-law Gary Watson.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Watson Green; brother-in-law Lee Mackey and his daughters, Anna Page, Janet Ross, Terry Cawthon, sister-in-laws, Edwina Green and Delores Watson, numerous cousins, and his church family at Alpine Church of Christ.
Services to honor his life will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Visitation will begin at 10am and a service will follow at 11am.
