Coy Gertrude Efurd's Obituary
Coy Gertrude Efurd, 93, of Longview passed away July 23, 2014. Born in James, Texas May 31, 1921, she was the daughter of John and Winnie Trotter.
She was a graduate of New Diana High School and was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone in Marshall and Longview Texas.
She was a member of Camille Acres Baptist Church where she served as church clerk for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Efurd, her parents, two infant brothers, and sisters Lorene Dunlap and Edith Works.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Diane Efurd; a granddaughter Allison Efurd all of Longview, and nieces, Wanda Moore of Longview, Elaine Rainey and husband Steve of Longview and Hazel DeArmey and husband Cary of Mebane, North Carolina.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 26 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd with Revs. Thomas Ayres and Joe McGraw officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 25, from 6pm to 8pm
