Coy Dean Claiborne's Obituary
Coy Dean Claiborne, 79, of Longview lost his battle with cancer September 8, 2015.
Coy was born in Bealls, TX January 11, 1936 to Luther and Almeda Claiborne.
He graduated from high school in Sherman, TX in 1955. He later met and married his bride of 60 years Mrs. Lorene Virginia Harrison. They moved to Longview, TX in 1975 and became owner of Auto Parts Mart for almost 35 years.
Coy is survived by his loving wife Virginia Claiborne, daughter Christie Claiborne, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and his 2 furry friends Chloe and Sadie. His two sons Michael and Jeffery Claiborne both precede him in passing.
Among his many hobbies he was an avid dirt track racer and enjoyed watching NASCAR.
Funeral services for Coy will be 2 pm, Monday, September 14, 2015 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Interment will follow at Memory Park Cemetery. Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of visitation at the funeral home Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 6pm-8pm.
