Cornelia M. Clamp's Obituary
Mrs. Cornelia M. Clamp, age 91, of Henderson, Texas, was taken to her Eternal Home on July 4, 2013. She will be missed by her family as well as her many friends.
Graveside services for Mrs. Clamp will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Rusk County Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home.
Mrs. Clamp was born June 11, 1922 in Rusk County to C.C. and Kate B. Dorsey. She was a lifetime member of the Grandview Baptist Church and was a nurse's aide. She was a long time member of the VFW TX Post 8535 Ladies Auxiliary; a place that brought her great joy over the years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Clamp, son, Larry Clamp, her parents, sisters Ada Heim, Bonnie Hargis, Lois Boyd, Maggie Green, and Lura Ray, brothers, Newell Dorsey, Fred Lee Dorsey and Ernest "Bob" Dorsey.
Cornelia is survived by her son, Lowell Clamp, and wife Kathy of Nacogdoches, daughter, Linda Staman and husband, John, of Tyler, sister, Ludie Smith, of Henderson; grandchildren, Dwayne Graham and wife, Tonya, of Henderson, Cindy Carter and husband, Jim, of Garland, Carla Garner and husband, Robby, of Garland, Stephanie Van Dyke and husband, Ken, of Nacogdoches, Tami Putnam of Nacogdoches, Christopher Graham and wife, Debbie, of Karnack, Keri Perren of Livingston, and Brent Clamp and wife, Keri, of Nacogdoches. Also, surviving are 16 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her loving niece, Euline, who tirelessly cared for her over the years.
Pallbearers will be Dwayne Graham, Christopher Graham, Brent Clamp, Ken VanDyke, Jim Carter, and Robby Garner. Honorary pallbearer will be Zackary Graham.
Visitation will be from 9:45 am until 10:45 am Saturday, July 6, 2013.
