Corey Arbon Carpenter's Obituary
A celebration of the life of Corey Arbon Carpenter, 23, of Gladewater, will be held 2 PM Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at Greggton United Methodist Church, 1101 Pine Tree Road, with Reverend Jonathan Bynum and Reverend Mike Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow in Gladewater Memorial
Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Corey was born in Longview, Texas on December 13, 1981 to Tem and
Sandra Carpenter. He was a cabinet maker and graduate of the Mt. Pleasant Fire Academy. Corey loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers, hunting and fishing, family and friends.
Corey was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bobby Glenn Allen.
He is survived by his parents, Tem and Sandra Carpenter; brother and sister-in-law, Brandon & Tabi Bussey of Henderson, and twin-brother, Chris Carpenter of
Gladewater; paternal grandparents, LaJuan Carpenter of Longview, Temple & Emma Carpenter of Longview; maternal grandparent, Bertress Allen of
Gladewater; uncles, Larry and Renee Allen of Gladewater, Ronnie and Brenda Allen of Gladewater, Steve and Cindy Carpenter of Longview; nephews, Garret Bussey and Gage Bussey, both of Henderson; cousins, Todd
Carpenter of the United States Army in Afghanistan, April Nicole Weber of Colorado Springs, CO, Jordan and Keith Torres of Gladewater, Morgan, Ryan, Will, and Brian Allen, all of Gladewater and Lance Allen of Austin, TX.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM.
