Ellen Gordon
Bernie, Tina, Brandi, George and Angelica, Brittany, Jonathan, Talan,
We did not realize that Connie was not doing well, and read her obituary in the Longview Newspaper too late to attend the memorial service, which we greatly regret.
She was one of the most bubbly, loving, optimistic people we have ever known, and how she loved each of you with her whole heart!!! Yes, she was a passionate homemaker, and I remember many stories she shared with me about decorating her home, getting gifts for all of you, her prayers for you during illnesses, and her affection even for us. Connie knew how to make a person feel loved!
I also remember that she could clean a house all morning on a Coca Cola and peanut M&M's, which amazed me!
I am so sorry we did not get to visit her before she went to be with the Lord, but we know that in His presence, now she knows only His love and peace, and no more pain, worry, or suffering.
We would like to make a memorial for Connie rather than send flowers.
Our heartfelt sympathy to each of you,
Ellen and Dr. Jay Gordon
