Connie L. Roy
Graveside services for Connie L. Roy, 70, of Longview will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013 at Danville Cemetery with Dr. Raymond Boulter, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013, in a Longview hospital.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Roy was born December 22, 1942 in Ft. Worth to J.C. and Mary Lou Terrell and had been a resident of Longview for the past 36 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Gum Springs Christian Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Roy was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Cory Bryce Roy.
Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 42 years, James Roy of Longview; her daughter and son-in-law, Meredeth and Scot Brown of Kilgore; grandchildren, Michael and Courtlyn Brown of Kilgore; brothers, Jimmy Terrell and wife Lynn of Tatum and Limmie Terrell and wife Chris of Ponder, TX; and sister, Janet Wilson of Seattle, WA.
