Connie (Webb) Harmon's Obituary
Services for Connie (Webb) Harmon, 71, of Bullard will be held 10:00am Thursday, September 15, 2016 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson with Rev. James Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Harmon passed away September 10, 2016 in Tyler. She was born December 31, 1944 in Nacogdoches.
She was preceded in death by her parents A.W. and Annie Belle Webb.
Connie graduated with honors from Henderson High School in 1963.She graduated from the University of Houston in 1964 and then Hermann Hospital School of Medical Technology.
She is survived by her husband, John Harmon of Bullard, TX; sons, Jeffrey Harmon of Beaver Creek, OH and Dr. Todd Harmon of Sugarland, TX; brother, Pat Webb of Bullard, TX; sister’ Kathy Webb of Dallas, TX; twelve grandchildren and many relatives and dear friends.
She had numerous careers such as a Registered Medical Technologist, successful real estate sales agent and Senior Escrow Officer at several title companies.
Her passion was to work with people with special needs. She got her B.S. from the University of Houston in 2004 graduating Magna Cum Laude. She taught class for special needs children in HISD. Also, was an active volunteer with Texanna, an organization that deals with people with special needs in Rosenberg, TX.
Connie fought a valiant battle with brain cancer for 3 years. She will be remembered as a woman of faith, kindness and love by all who were blessed to have had her in their lives. Rest in Peace MiMi.
