Connie Marie Griffin's Obituary
Visitation for Connie Marie Griffin of Longview, TX will take place at the Rader Funeral Home of Longview on Sunday February 17 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Burial service will follow on Monday, February 18 at 10:30 AM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Grand Prairie TX.
Connie M. Griffin, age 90, passed away at the Longview Hill Nursing Home on Saturday February 9. She was born in Henderson County TX to Alvino and Martha Gomez on August 6, 1928. She attended Pine Tree Schools, followed by employment in Dallas TX and Longview TX. She met and married Wyman W. Griffin in 1950. They bought a home on Poplar St in Marshall, TX, Raising 3 sons, moving to Longview in 1964.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wyman W. Griffin, her parents Alvino and Martha Gomez, several brothers and sisters, her son Ronald Anthony Griffin, grandsons Keith Griffin and Christopher Griffin. Connie was the last of her generation.
She is survived by sons Joseph W. Griffin of Mansfield, TX and Donald M. Griffin of Kilgore, TX. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
